A Shift in Straps
The halter dress is an alternative option to the regular straps that usually hold up a dress and offers different styles and complimentary features. Just like other dresses with straps, these dresses have a variety of sizes in the straps, different arrangements, and creative designs. With these dresses, the main difference is that the straps are tied behind the neck, leaving the shoulders bare. This allows the dress to bring more focus to the top including the bare shoulder, bust line, neck, and face. Theses dresses also allow the back to be open and bare.
The variety of ways the straps can be arranged offer plenty of complimentary styles that match well with different necklines, especially V-neck and scoop ones. The straps can start from the out sides of the dress and come up to tie behind the back or can both start from the middle of the dress before going back. This is just a small sample of what can be done with the straps. The dresses below show more styles as well.
